Samsung provided me with product and compensation. The opinions I have shared about the product are my own.
If I had could only take one thing with me for the entire day, it would no doubt be my smartphone. Knowing I can access emails, files, social media, and really just about anything with my phone just makes my life easier. In short, technology is such a blessing and I don’t know what I’d do without it! Today, I’ve partnered with Samsung to show you how I interacted with their latest innovation, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphone at my local Samsung Studio Pop-Up here in Dallas.
Okay, so Robert and I don’t always get to hang out like we used to, so when we do we gotta make it fun! I took him with me to check out Samsung’s Studio pop-up located at Stonebriar Center in Frisco and we had the best time playing around with Samsung’s latest and greatest technology. I loved that it was a total immersive experience and that each gadget was there for me to touch and feel. Personally, my favorite part was when I got to dunk a Galaxy S8 into water and take a selfie with it! It honestly gave me a little rush of anxiety, but the phone was alright and I was simply amazed that it wasn’t affected by the water at all! The Galaxy S8 and S8+ can withstand up to 5 ft. of water for up to 30 minutes with no damage to the phone – amazing, right?!
Reasons Why I Love the Galaxy S8:
- It’s water resistant. Like I mentioned earlier, I dunked the Galaxy S8 and it was still able to take a photo of me while underwater! This not only makes less anxious when Zara is trying to watch videos on it, but it also just reassures me that my memories on the phone are nice and safe.
2. Iris Scanning for Security. Okay, sometimes mom life gets messy and I don’t have a free hand to open my phone to respond or open my phone to check something. Having an iris scanning security lock is probably about the coolest thing any phone that has ever existed has done! I love that the Galaxy S8 automatically recognizes my eyes and opens when I pick it up, because that’s pretty awesome!
3. Infinity Screen. When scrolling through feeds I want to see as much of the photo as I can, or to have whatever content I’m looking at be as big as possible. Having an Infinity screen that spills over the sides of the phone is everything when I’m looking through my Instagram feed or camera roll! When I take photos of myself or Zara, I love the clarity and quality of the photos on the Galaxy S8 screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Pop-Up is at the Stonebriar Center from now through December and makes for a fun adventure! Make sure you stop by and check out Samsung’s latest innovations, and click here for a full list of Samsung Studio locations throughout the US to see them for yourself!
