Thank you Curves International for sponsoring this post. Ready to get #CurvesStrong?
Getting back into shape always sounds like a daunting task. And trust me, I’ve been there so many times. There’s a lot of pressure these days to try and be everything for everyone, and yes I’ll admit that even I try to be Super Woman (emphasis on try). But the fact is I’m not, and it’s okay to give myself a break every now and then. I try not to skimp out on self-care, but sometimes something just has to give.
Curves Gym has no-pressure environment that I look for when I’m working out. Being around a group of women who are there to support you and not judge is just so important to me. It’s a women-only gym, so you can totally be yourself while you’re there in their judgement-free zone!
When you go, you’re able to meet with a coach that will motivate you and help cheer you on as you work on your curves. There was so much support that day at the event! It’s so nice to hang around women that only want you to succeed in your workout and the coaches at the gym were all so helpful at the Curves 25th birthday celebration! Whether you’re there by yourself or a group of friends for one of the classes, Curves is there to help you be your best self.
Like I just mentioned, it’s their 25th birthday and they are celebrating by going $25,000 to 25 female veterans to open their own Curves gym! I love that they are for women and that they empower and support them too!
Be sure to check out your local Curves to start your own fitness journey.
